2019 CAPTAINS REPORT
2019 was a different year for Cambria as we had some difficult health issues in the background. As a result, with full support from the owner’s family we cancelled the years racing events and kept to a cruising itinerary only.
Cruising was focussed in the eastern med with June and July spent sailing Corfu and then Croatia. We had not spent so much time around the North and West coast of Corfu but this year the weather was perfect to explore this area. In Croatia we cruised the southern area, between Cavtat and Hvar, again Miljet being the favourite area. During late August and September Cambria was used as a training venue and base camp for a couple of divers competing in the 2019 world freediving championships, held in Villefrance sur Mer, France. An amazing experience for the crew to witness.
